A symposium, organized by Strategic Initiative for the Protection of Sri Lanka (SIPOS) together with Federation of National Organizations, is to be held at 'Mihilaka Medura' at BMICH today at 3:30 p.m. onwards with the participation of Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Gotabhaya Rajapaksa as the Chief Guest.
At the symposium titled 'Battles won and wars that must still be fought' SIPOS enters the public domain on multiple fronts with the publication of the organization's three maiden publications.
The three publications cover key aspects of the struggle to eliminate terrorism in Sri Lanka under the themes 'The LTTE: The most disciplined fighting force the world has ever known', 'Unpardonable crimes against humanity', and ' Out of the Cage: the greatest hostage rescue operation ever'.
SIPOS is a collective of patriotic organizations and persons committed to protect Sri Lanka from all threats.
The Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prof Asoka Bandarage at Georgetown University, Senior Lawyer Gomin Dayasri, Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekera and journalist Malinda Seneviratne are scheduled to address the symposium.
