New Police Chief calls on President

The newly appointed police chief of Sri Lanka, Inspector General of Police (IGP) N. K. Illangakoon called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (05) at the President's House in Kandy.
The 33rd IGP of the Sri Lanka Police department assumed duties yesterday at the Police Headquarters in Colombo..


The Police chief is seeing here presenting a special memento to the President. President's Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath was also present at the occasion.
