Malinga not included in Sri Lanka T20 team, Mathews vice-captain

Sri Lanka's injured fast bowler Lasith Malinga has been left out of the national team for the two-match Twenty20 series against Australia to be started on August 6th , the Sri Lanka Cricket announced.



All-rounder Angelo Mathews has been picked as the vice-captain to assist Captain Tillakaratne Dilshan after dropping Thilina Kandamby who was the deputy during the England tour. Uncapped all-rounder Shaminda Eranga has also been drafted.
