The 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Ajmal Kasab has moved the Supreme Court challenging his death penalty. Kasab moved Supreme Court against the The Bombay High Court order upholding the death sentence.
A trial court had sentenced him to death on five counts in May 2010.
The Bombay High Court later confirmed Kasab's death sentence in February this year. This even as Pakistan has also registered an FIR against Kasab and a judicial commission from Pakistan will be visiting India soon to take statements of key individuals involved in the Mumbai terror case.
