Sri Lanka's leading Tamil daily, Virakesari is marking 80 years of continued publication this year.
The Chairman of the Express Newspapers, publishers of the Virakesari, Mr. Kumar Nadesan today presented Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa with a special volume to mark the 80 years of continued publication of the newspaper.
The special volume comprised the front pages of the newspapers on special, local, and international events of importance. The presentation was made to mark the World Press Freedom day.
