Sri Lanka's main opposition to appoint National Organizer soon

Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) has said the party's new National Organizer would be appointed within the next few days.


UNP Spokesperson and parliamentarian Gayantha Karunatileka told the media today that the party would also appoint new organizers as well.

According to Karunatileka, the party is currently functioning in line with the new constitution that was approved at the UNP convention last December.

The UNP Working Committee is to meet on Wednesday (6) to finalize the appointment of the new National Organizer, Karunatileka revealed.
