Sri Lanka's Cooperatives and Internal Trade Minister calls for extra safety measures at economic centers

Sri Lanka's Cooperatives and Internal Trade Minster Johnston Fernando has said that Special Task Force (STF) protection will be provided to the Dambulla Economic Center.


The Center has been provided with STF security since last Friday to guard the place.

Fernando has told the media that the STF presence is expected to ensure the safety of the vendors and prevent any unnecessary issues from taking place within the premises.

The Minister has requested for an increase in safety measures taken at all economic centers island wide whilst cracking down on unlawful activities.
