Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga returned to the World Cup tournament today taking a hat-trick to destroy Kenya's top order after Kenya won the toss and decided to bat at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo in the 14th match of the ICC World Cup.
Malinga who just returned for today's match after nursing a back strain took six wickets to set an easy target for Sri Lanka to chase with the visitors out in 43.4 overs.
Sri Lanka won their first match against Canada by 210 runs but lost the second match to Pakistan by 11 runs placing them at the third place in the point table.
