President opens Lakviru Sevana Sales complex operated by disabled Army war veterans

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa today participated in the opening of the sales complex for products made by disabled Army soldiers of the Lakviru Sevana Disabled War Heroes Vocational Training Center.


The founder of Lakviru Sevana Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thero accompanied the President at the ceremony to open the Sales Complex at Cooperation of the Dharmayathana Trust in Battaramulla today.


The project to grow agricultural products was launched in joint collaboration with the Centre under the auspices of Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thero and the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya.
Ministers, parliamentarians, Commanders of the Armed Forces, Maha Sangha, disabled war veterans and their families and distinguished guests participated in the event.
