A book on life stories of war heroes presented to the President

Presidential Advisor, Venerable Bengamuwe Nalaka Thero presented the first copy of his book on war heroes titled "Viruwan Asuren Suvisi Vasarak" to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on Wednesday (22).

The book chronicles the life stories of war heroes in the battlegrounds of the North and East, and military camps within the last 24 years. Members of the Maha Sangha, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga, Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe and Prof. Nalin De Silva were also present at the occasion.
