Sri Lankan Speaker warns governing party MP for using obscene language against opposition MP

Sri Lanka Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa today warned a governing party parliamentarian for using obscene language against an opposition party legislator.

The Speaker warned the recently crossed over Kandy district MP Abdul Cader for using obscene language against United National Party MP Mangala Samaraweera.

Speaker Rajapaksa asked Cader to take back the comment made by him and warned him against using such language in future.

The Speaker on an earlier occasion also has called on all the legislators from both sides of the divide to prevent from using foul language and character assassination.
