With the retirement of spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan and the resting of fast bowler Lasith Malinga, Sri Lanka team is experimenting with bowlers for the 3-match Test series against West Indies.
After the hard-earned draw in the first Test Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has decided to drop fast bowlers Dammika Prasad and Thilin Thusara and recalled seamer Nuwan Kulasekara and uncapped Shaminda Eranga.
The 16-member squad also includes veteran bowler Dilhara Fernando, Rangana Herath and another uncapped fast bowler in Tests Suranga Lakmal.
The second Test will begin Tuesday (23) at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Sri Lanka managed to draw the first Test in Galle despite the dominant performance by the West Indies team with Chris Gayle's triple century.
