Colombo Gangaramaya Temple holds Annual Katina Pinkama

Colombo Gangaramaya Temple held its Annual Katina Pinkama today. The Katina Procession started from the President's House with the participation of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa this morning.
The President is seen here carrying the Katina Cheewara for the ceremony of Robe Offering to the monks. Ven. Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thera is accompanying the President.
Asgiri Mahanayaka Dr. Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha, Chief Incumbent of Gangaramaya Temple Galaboda Gnanissara Thera, Chairman of the Gangarama Dayakasaba Ranjith Wijewardane, and members of the Dayakasaba were present at the occasion.
