Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) has taken measures to bring home the bodies of three Sri Lankans who were killed in a motor accident in Qatar.
However, the process has been delayed due to Hajj holidays in Qatar, SLFEB says.
The deceased include a couple from Gampaha and a male from Kurunegala. Another female expatriate worker was injured and hospitalized, SLFEB said.
The SLFEB expects the process of bringing back the bodies can be accelerated as the country normalizes in the next week after the Hajj season.
