Sri Lanka's First Lady meets Queen of Malaysia

Sri Lanka's First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa who is attending the First Ladies Summit 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia received a warm welcome from the Queen of Malaysia Tuanku Nur yesterday evening at the Istana Negara Palace in Kuala Lumpur.


Mrs. Rajapaksa is due to address the first ever summit of the fist ladies today.


She is the only representative of the South Asian region at the summit. Representatives from 31 countries including 22 First Ladies, ministers, and special envoys participate in the three-day summit from October 11 to 13.
