Private bus operators of Sri Lanka have given the government a period of one month to revise the bus timetables
.The Private Bus Owners' Association (PBOA) has said that it would not take legal action or increase bus fares if the government implemented the recent cabinet decision to revise the bus time tables within a period of one month.
PBOA chairman Gemunu Wijeratne told the local media that while the Association was pleased with the Cabinet decision to revise bus timetables, it needed to be done immediately.
Wijeratne notes that the PBOA would resort to legal action if the new timetables were not implemented in a month's time.
