President reviews progress in Sri Lanka's Eastern Province

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa today met with government authorities of the Eastern Province to review the progress of the province and its development projects at a meeting held in the Trincomalee Navel Base Auditorium.

The Chief Minister of the Eastern Province Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan welcomed the President.
The Governor of Eastern Province Rear Admiral Mohan Wijayawickrema, Ministers P. A. Dayarathne, Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan, A. L. M. Athaulla, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga, Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Finance Secretary Dr. P. B. Jayasundara, Government Agents, Members of the PC Council and Pradeshiya Sabha also participated.
