Tamil Nadu and South Australia on Monday renewed their agreement for working together in a host of areas.
Education, industry and business, tourism, agriculture, automobile, sport and cinema would be among the sectors in which the two States would collaborate with each other for mutual economic and cultural benefits.
S. Malathi, Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary, and Lance Worrall, Chief Executive, South Australia?s Department of Trade and Economic Development, signed the agreement at the Secretariat in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and South Australian Premier Mike Rann.
An official release stated that the earlier agreement, signed on October 30, 2006, expired in October last year.
