President opens cricket stadium in Badulla

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa who was in Badulla of Uva Province today participating in several events opened a new indoor cricket stadium built by Sri Lanka Cricket

The President is seen here playing the first batting stroke at the new stadium. Chief Executive of Sri Lanka Cricket Ajith Jayasekara was also present.Ministers C.B. Ratnayake, Nimal Siripala de Silva, Deputy Minister Dilan Perera, Governor of Uva Province C. Nanda Mathew, Chief Minister of Uva Province Shashendra Rajapaksa and President's Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath also participated in the event.
