The Health Informatics Society of Sri Lanka (HISSL) has organized its 5th Health Informatics Conference, eHealth 2010, in Sri Lanka on September 15 and 16 at Waters Edge in Battaramulla, a suburb of capital Colombo.
The conference is organized to give the opportunity to those in the health care sector to update their knowledge and contribute to the rapidly evolving knowledge in the field of biomedical informatics.
Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena will be the chief gust at the event and Minister of Technology and Research, Prof. Tissa Vitharana will be the guest of honor.
eHealth 2010 would be an ideal forum to share information and results of research generated by investigators in medicine, science and the electronic communication technology industry working in the field of biomedical informatics, says HISSL.
The conference includes symposia on eHealth Policy, IT for Health Administration, eHealth in the Private Sector, Clinical Informatics, Public Health Informatics and IT for Medical Education.
