Earthquake in India, Pakistan & Afghanistan

Pakistan, Afghanistan and Northern India hit by moderate intensity earthquake around midnight on 17th September. The intensity of the earthquake was 6.5 on the Richter scale.

According to the IMD’s Seismology Department the earthquake hit the Hindu Kush area of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the sources the earthquake tremors were also felt in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and other parts of the Northern India.
The earthquake tremors felt during midnight and no casualty or damage was reported.
