The organizers say there will be a total of 420 stalls of local and foreign books this year. Around 120 publishing companies will participate in the fair.
The event held annually drawing crowds from all parts of the island is organized by the Sri Lanka Book Publishers Association.
The event also enables the public to meet their favorite authors while the authors and the publishers also get a feedback from their spectators.
