Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara decided to bat after winning the toss today at the P. Saravanamutthu Oval in Colombo against India in the decisive third Test.
Lasith Malinga is back for the Sri Lankan side after resting for the second Test at SSC while Dammika Prasad and Dilhara Fernando who played at SSC were left out for the third Test. Sri Lanka has also called up Chanaka Welegedara for today's match.
India's hopes of leveling the series faced a set back when Harbhajan Singh was ruled out due to injury. India is also missing Gautam Gambhir who missed the second Test at the SSC due to a knee injury.
