Sri Lanka National Agricultural Week in Hambanthota

Sri Lanka National Agricultural Week has been organized to be held in Hambanthota this year, Sri Lanka Ministry of Agriculture announces.

The agricultural week functions will be held from September 01 to 05 at Bataatha Agricultural Technology Park.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa will launch a national project to promote local food production for consumption.
The theme of the agricultural week 2010 is the 'Youth Farmer Life and Future Prosperity,' Ministry sources said.

An exhibition has also been organized to be held for public view.
