Sri Lanka's Criminal Investigations Department (CID) had informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate today (30) that former Army Commander and Democratic National Alliance (DNA) Leader Sarath Fonseka and his coordinating secretary Senaka Silva will be indicted in the Colombo High Court.

The CID has said retired General Fonseka and Silva will be indicted for harboring army deserters prior to the last Presidential elections in January.
The CID has also informed courts that Silva will be indicted separately for conspiring against the State.
General Fonseka is currently in military custody while Silva is in remand custody at Welikada Prison.
