Five new Ambassadors and two new High Commissioners presented their credentials to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat today.
President Rajapaksa received the letters from Ambassador Designate for Republic of Iraq Kahtan Taha Khalaf Kali, Ambassador Designate for The Kingdom of Bhutan Dasho Bap Kesang, Ambassador Designate for Republic of Armenia Ara Hakobyan, Ambassador Designate for Republic of Macedonia Petar Jovanovski, Ambassador Designate for People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Mohammed ' Hacene Echarif, High Commissioner Designate for Kingdom of Swaziland Mpumelelo Joseph Nadumiso Hlophe and High Commissioner Designate for Brunei Darussalam Sidek Ali.
The President welcomed the envoys to Sri Lanka and conveyed the country's desire to have cordial bilateral relations with their countries.
