Writer and academician turned politician Prof A. V. Suraweera presented his book on Higher Education and Technical Education to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple Trees today (June 14).
several other Sinhala, English, and Tamil authors of Sinhala and Tamil Writers Association also presented first copies of their latest publications to the President at the occasion.
Minister of Youth Affairs Dullas Alahapperuma, Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena, and Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga and the Head of Godage Publishers, S. Godage were among the distinguished gathered at the occasion.
