The police this evening have found the manager of Colombo Fort branch of Nations' Trust Bank who was believed to have been abducted by a group of unidentified persons.
Earlier reports said that an unidentified group was seen near the house of the 37 year-old manager Denis Peters in Mount Lavinia in the outskirts of Colombo city. His relatives complained to the police that he might have been abducted while he was travelling in his car to work.
Police later found him as he was towing his broken car, police said.
The victim has told the police that an unidentified group abducted him, took him to four places and released him later saying that he was taken by mistake.
