HE Indian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur must include Tamil on its signages as nearly 75% of the people using its facilities are South Indians whose mother tongue is Tamil, reported Tamil Nesan.
It quoted Alternative Action Team president B. Kalaivanar as saying that airline companies like Air India, Indian Airlines and Jet Airways should also have Tamil in their announcements and appoint flight attendants who are proficient in the language as nearly 95% of its passengers are Tamils.
Kalaivanar said he would be leading a delegation to present a memorandum on the issue to the High Commission on Friday.
