United Nations envoy Lakhdar Brahimi seeks Iranian help for Syria ceasefire

International mediator Lakhdar Brahimi has asked Iranian authorities for help in achieving a ceasefire in Syria during the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha later this month, his spokesman said on Monday.
