A herd of wild elephants trampled three women labourers to death in the tea estates of Valparai in Coimbatore on Wednesday afternoon. As the tea labourers were plucking leaves in the Tamil Nadu government-owned TANTEA estate at Periyakallar in Valparai, a herd of four elephants charged into the estate.
