Sri Lanka's main opposition MP apologizes to party's deputy leader for slandering him in raided website

Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party (UNP) parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera has apologized to Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa for slandering him in the website raided by the government recently.
Samaraweera has reportedly apologized to Premadasa for publishing false information about him and his family in the official website of the UNP Communication Division, Sri Lanka X News. Samaraweera had extended his apologies to Premadasa at the party's Working Committee meeting held at Sirikotha. Premadasa had complained that false stories about him and his family were being published in the website for the past one and a half months and question as to why they have not been removed. Samaraweera had then apologized for the failure to remove the stories on the website.
