A Sri Lankan court has ordered the rehabilitation of the former legal draftsman of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
Colombo High Court Judge Sunil Rajapakse has asked the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) to rehabilitate K.P. Lankasewaran who had acted as the legal draftsman for the Tamil Tiger terrorist organization.
The former Tiger cadre had also worked as a lawyer and later as a judge in the LTTE courts.
He had performed duties as a legal draftsman during the period of 2007 to 2009.
A resident of Jaffna, Lanksewaran had said that he was a student at the Sri Lanka Law College when he was forcibly recruited by the LTTE.
