26/11: Centre sanctions chargesheet against David Headley

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday gave sanction to the National Investigation Agency to file chargesheet against nine people including Lashkar-e-Taiba operative David Coleman Headley and two ISI officials,
who were found guilty in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Headley has already pleaded guilty in a US court for plotting the deadly terror attack that left 166 people dead. A Mumbai magistrate court has already requested the US Court to enable Mumbai police to interrogate Headley and his accomplice Tahawwur Hussain Rana for the terror attack. Last year, the NIA team had interrogated David Headley, where he had revealed the details of his visit to India. Pakistani-Canadian Tahawwur Hussain Rana was convicted for helping Headley to use his business for plotting the attack.
