Acting on a tip, officers of the BIA narcotics bureau arrested the couple with US$ 70,000 (Rs.7,840,000) in their possession. The couple had arrived in a flight from Dubai.
Police Narcotics Unit is conducting further investigations.

Nigerian couple smuggling dollars arrested at Sri Lanka airport
Acting on a tip, officers of the BIA narcotics bureau arrested the couple with US$ 70,000 (Rs.7,840,000) in their possession. The couple had arrived in a flight from Dubai.
Police Narcotics Unit is conducting further investigations.
