Sri Lanka President offers more relief to Japan

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa has offered further relief to the Japanese people affected by the March 11 tsunami and the mishaps following it.

The President promised to supply tea to the affected people in Japan during a meeting he had with the Ambassador of Japan Kunio when the President visited the Embassy of Japan in Colombo to express condolences to the people of Japan.

In addition, Sri Lanka President has said that a medical team from Sri Lanka will be sent to Japan to assist the recovery efforts.

President Rajapaksa signed the Condolence Book at the Japanese Embassy in Colombo this morning.
