Over 1,000 private buses to be deployed for Sri Lanka local government elections

Sri Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association (PBOA) says that a large number of private buses are to be deployed for election work during the forthcoming local government elections.

The PBOA has said that over 1,000 private buses would be deployed for election work.

PBOA President, Gemunu Wijeratne has told the media that the Elections Department had requested for buses for the local government elections.

Accordingly, private buses are to be deployed to every district in the country to assist transportation of people.
