A Tamil politician representing the Sri Lankan government says that he would initiate a discussion with the Tamil Diaspora.
Democratic People's Front (DPF) parliamentarian Prabha Ganeshan has said that he is planning on discussing details and incidents related to President Mahinda Rajapaksa's recent visit to the UK with the Tamil Diaspora.
Ganeshan has told the local media that he is currently contacting the Tamil Diaspora members in the Western nations.
He has said that he would explain to them the negative impact of those incidents that happened in the UK during the President's visit on the Tamil population in the country.
Ganeshan was elected to parliament under the main opposition alliance United National Front and later defected to the government.
