President distributes financial assistance to Samurdhi recipients

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa participated in the 11th National Convention of the All Island Samurdhi Development and Agricultural Research and Production Assistants that was held at Temple trees today.
During the event the President distributed financial assistance to the families of demised members of the society. Deputy Minister of Economic Development Luxman Yapa Abeywardena, Minister S.M Chandrasena, and Governor of the Western Province Alevi Moulana also participated in the event.
