Preliminary reports quoting police said one of the ill-fated buses was coming to Theni from Madurai, while the other was proceeding to Madurai from Chinnamanur when the mishap occurred.
The injured were rushed to Government Medical College Hospital here. The condition of some of the injured was said to be serious.
Theni District Revenue Officer R Brinda Devi and Superintendent of Police V Balakrishnan rushed to the scene and supervised the rescue operations, the sources added.

Good information, whenever we are driving our vehicle we should drive it on limit speed. Because sometime high speed of vehicle become cause of big accident.
