Sri Lanka has decided to include two uncapped players in the 16-man squad for the first Test against West Indies in Galle and rest fast bowler Lasith Malinga.
Fast bowler Suranga Lakmal and promising wicket Keeper batsman Kaushal Silva have been included in the team, Sri Lanka Cricket said.
Malinga, who was the Man of the Series in the just concluded Australia tour has been rested to recover from his recurring knee problems.
Sri Lanka is playing without the spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan who announced his retirement from Test in June this year.
The opening Test match is to begin on November 15th at the Galle International Stadium.
