Sri Lanka launches savings week to encourage the rising wonder of Asia concept

All state banks of Sri Lanka have planned to launch a savings week under the direction of the Treasury.

"The savings week that encourages the rising wonder of Asia" will be held from 15 November to 21 November.
The Treasury has directed the state banks to achieve a target of raising Rs. 20 billion within this week.
To promote the measure the Treasury has directed the state banks to grant a high interest rate to the depositors who save money during this week.
