Sri Lanka's main opposition United National Party Hambantota District parliamentarian Sajith Premadasa says he is prepared to give the leadership to the party to make it a winning force once again.
Premadasa said that once the proposed reforms are implemented at the scheduled party convention on December 12, there would be a revolutionary change in the UNP.
He told a public gathering that he was prepared to give the leadership to bring about this revolutionary change.
"With the change in the UNP constitution, I'm ready to give leadership to make a revolutionary change within the UNP," Premadasa said.
He added that the losing streak of UNP is over and with a definite change at the leadership of the party, he is ready to steer the UNP to a new era.
