Karunanidhi, himself, is due to arrive on Wednes day afternoon for an evening recept i on. Governor Surjit Singh Barnala will bless the couple on Wednesday. Actors Rajinikant, Kamal Haasan and Suriya will also be present.
Alagiri had personally invited President Pratibha Patil, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairpers on Sonia Gandhi and his cabinet coll eagues. As Parliament is in session, only Union Ministers P Chidambar am, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Vayalar Ravi and G K Vasan are likely to attend.
