Sri Lanka to upgrade five universities to international level

Sri Lanka Ministry of Higher Education has taken measures to upgrade five local universities to international level.

The universities that are to be upgraded as international universities are Colombo, Peradeniya, Moratuwa, Kelaniya, and Sri Jayewardenepura.
The secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education Dr. Sunil Jayantha Navarathna told media that the university courses would be restructured and the university teachers would be given further training under the programme to upgrade the universities.
