Sri Lanka court grants permission to remove unauthorized students from university

The Colombo Magistrate's Court today granted permission to the police to remove any unauthorized students from the Kelaniya University.

Colombo Additional Magistrate Mahee Wijeweera today allowed the Police to act when he heard an application by the Kiribathgoda Police on unauthorized people causing damage to the University.
The Police and the University administrators say some unauthorized people occupying the university facilities have caused damage to property and student clashes.

The case will be heard again on October 28.
