President appoints new party organizers

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa today appointed M. Dayakantha Perera as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) chief organizer for the East Colombo electorate while Ali Shaheer Maulana and Arun Thambimuttu were appointed as SLFP co-organizers of the Batticaloa electorate.
They received their appointment letters from the President at the Temple Trees Wednesday.


Governor of the Western Province Alewi Moulana and Secretary of the SLFP Party Headquarters H. S. Ariyasena were also present.
