BJP President Nitin Gadkari has said the Congress is responsible for the Commonwealth Games mess
.Gadkari said the BJP has proof of corruption during the Commonwealth Games.
Gadkari said the cost for the Games kept escalating and it was approved by the prime minister's office.

Gadkari demanded a joint parliamentary committee to probe into the corruption at the Games.

He also alleged that several benami transactions were conducted during the Commonwealth Games and that Games money was transferred to Swiss accounts.
