Sri Lanka Government Nursing Officers' Association protests the violation of fair practice in granting appointments to nurses
.The general secretary of the Government Nursing Officers' Association Saman Rathnapriya says that the Ministry of Health granted appointments to nursing officers in accordance with the result based priority.

The Government Nursing Officers' Association points out that, 319 nursing students, passed out after training in Nursing Training Schools, are awaiting appointments. Their priority list is being changed on the needs of outsiders now, he alleges.
