No chance for Siddhathan to go before LLRC

PLOTE Leader Siddhathan was granted permission by the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) to testify before it during sessions in the North following a request made by him. However, he was denied the opportunity of testifying before the LLRC due to a last minute change of plans, sources from Wanni said.
Siddhathan had planned to make a detail report of the plight of the people in the Wanni before the Commission. Sources said that following doubts of certain revelations that would be made by Siddhathan during his statement, the government had prevented him from going before the LLRC due to a request made by a group that has recently joined the government.

Although Siddhathan has written to the LLRC for an explanation for denying him the opportunity of testifying before it, he has not yet received any response.
